The time to start is now. What is it that you have been putting off? What have you been wanting to do, but are too scared to do?
For me, I had been wanting to make a change in my life. I wanted to go back to school. It took a night out at the bar to realize that I wasn’t doing anything with my life. I NEEDED that change.
So, I hastily sent in my application to grad school and was accepted a month later.
Now, I am entering my second year in grad school. Going back to school was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. And all of the homework and late nights studying are worth it.
So what’s holding you back from living your purpose?
Grad school looks like a Friday night staying in reading 30+ articles.
Grad school looks like two 15 page papers due in a few days.
Grad school looks like a brain dead student. And lots of coffee.
And in a few days, it will look like a month of being able to read whatever I want.
In a few days I will be going back to school. I am pursing a master’s degree in English Literature at CSUSB. I love learning and I love the English Language. The way that words play together and the way you can play with words fascinates me.
I am a little afraid of all the work that goes into it, but I know that going after this dream of mine will make me a better person (and a better writer).
All I have to say is that I love college.
Wish me luck!
