March is upon us. Let’s start it off right with daily writing prompts to get us writing in our journals.

  1. Write a letter to your inner writer.

  4. Allow yourself to be honest and vulnerable – write from that space.
  5. Describe your ideal life.
  6. What are your passions?
  7. Write for 10 minutes before you go to sleep about your day.
  8. Describe your life as if you were a character in a play.
  9. What makes you human?
  10. What was the most important moment of your life? Has it even happened yet?
  11. Who has shaped you as a person or a writer?
  12. Create a journal writing contract.
  13. Write your own bucket list.
  14. Write a dream sequence.
  15. What have you done this year to move closer to your goals?
  16. What have you done this month to be a better writer?
  17. Be green with envy and list what you want in your life.
  18. Be extra modest today and list what you can live without.
  19. What rule do you most want to break?
  20. Write about a new beginning.
  21. Write the life of a cat.
  22. What was the last book you read?
  23. Give advice to your 20 year old self.
  24. Give advice to yourself in 20 years.
  25. What makes you feel small?
  26. Find joy in the day.
  27. How do you find balance in your life?
  28. Take possession of yourself and your sexuality. Write what that means for you.

  30. What are you looking forward to?
  31. What are you doing next month that will bring you closer to your goals?
