The Road to Hell

Writing Quote

“The road to hell is paved with works-in-progress.” —Philip Roth

What do you think? Do you agree with Roth? Is the road to hell filled with works-in-progress?

  1. If you use his statement as a different version of another saying, ” THE ROAD TO HELL IS PAVED WITH GOOD INTENTIONS” it might be true. Everyone wants to do something for those without, but who will be the first to step out?
Will GOD condemn us for doing what we can, even if it doesn’t look like much in our eyes? I don’t think so. We just need to do what we can with what we have and be good servants. The rest is up to GOD. If you are doing what you feel is the right thing, what needs to be done, for those in need, there is no crime being committed worthy of punishment.
One life at a time. One day at a time. No need to take on the whole mess yourself. Share your passion with those around you and take those on your journey who have by he same passion. If they don’t have your passion, they might have a passion for something else.
Keep sharing your ideas. Someone is bound to find them worthy of their time and willing to invest their time to make them happen.
Never take the advice of a pessimist. They don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.

    Oops! Just a little rambling. : )
