Someone who loves me

Day four of the #loveme challenge is a person who loves you. My response comes in the form of a poem about my grandmother.

My grandmother’s hands,
tissue paper skin,
grasping mine
saying goodbye
one last time.
Bringing my hand
to her wrinkled skin
for one kiss
from her dry lips.
“I love you”
escaped her mouth-
forced out from a foggy mind.
Goodbye. One last time.
