Today’s #loveme Challenge is : What have You accepted about You.

I think I have learned something about myself. Although I say that there are certain things that make me happy, I am not living it authentically.

I know the things that make me happy, I know how I want to spend my time, but I am not doing it. I have accepted this about myself… and the next step is to work towards changing it.

Because starting now I am going to do something about it. The first step towards change is acceptance.

Writing Prompt #19 – Love Letters

Let the spirit of Valentine’s Day fill you with inspiration and explore the art of love letters. Look for love letter written to your parents or grandparents or even look for some online. Take inspiration from these letters and write a love letter to someone you love. It can be yourself, your sweetie, a friend, your family, the boy on the street you’ve never spoken to.

Love has it’s reasons

Today’s #loveme challenge is to share a quote.

The original quote is “Le coeur a ses raisons que la raison ne connait point” -Blaise Pascal. Or loosely translated: the heart has it’s reason that reason does not know.
In either language it is wonderfully poetic and perfectly phrased. The heart loves no matter what the mind says. Even when it is beyond all reason, the heart doesn’t stop loving.
