As a writer you have a desire to write. Every time you thwart that desire you are stopping a part of yourself. If you don’t honor that desire within you to write that desire doesn’t just go away. And every time you don’t act on that desire, a part of you feels incomplete. If you want to write, start now, start today. You might never get a second chance.
So write about your desires: write about what you want more than anything. Turn your wants and desires into a poem. Give your desires a name. If you don’t – no one will.
